A few weeks ago on Limited Resources (the podcast I do with Marshall Sutcliffe), I tried to capture the feeling of the start of a Pro Tour. It was a blast to describe, and even better, @mangabookclub on Twitter made a comic out of it.

First of all, if you haven’t read the comic, take the time to do so – it’s such a good representation of what the Pro Tour is (and means). There’s really nothing like it, and this captured its magic so well. Today, I’m going to take that ball and run with it, as I have so many stories from the Pro Tour to share, and articles like this are going to be how. I wrote a couple articles in this vein for ChannelFireball already, and this comic inspired me to add to that collection.
