To understand what the new Crimson Vow Standard metagame looks like, I analyzed all Standard deck lists that were played in best-of-three events on MTG Melee from Wednesday, November 17 up to and including Saturday, December 4. The data range includes the Innistrad Set Championship, for which I counted all decks, matches and cards twice. In total, my data set contained 2687 decks and 7921 matches.
I’ll break down the metagame, most-played cards and win rates. I’ll also offer deck lists for top-tier archetypes along with my thoughts on how easily they will be able to make the transition to the newly announced Alchemy format.
