Bringing Lands to Modern with the New Boseiju!

Boseiju, Who Endures is the most hyped up card in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, and rightfully so! The card is incredibly strong, as it’s simply a Forest that can turn into an Assassin’s Trophy for an artifact, enchantment or nonbasic land!

I chose to feature it in Fnoop’s deck since he’s been playing a really sweet RG Lands before Boseiju, Who Endures drops in and even got to ninth place on Sunday’s Modern Challenge with it.

This deck is choosing to play with Karn, the Great Creator instead of dipping into black for Lurrus of the Dream-Den in order to better exploit the extra mana provided by Wrenn and Six.

Elvish ReclaimerTraverse the UlvenwaldBoseiju, Who Endures

Elvish Reclaimer and Traverse the Ulvenwald  will be your ways to guarantee the flow of Urza’s Sagas, as well as provide a small toolbox package with Bojuka Bog and Field of Ruin.

Boseiju, Who Endures won’t be good with Elvish Reclaimer, but it will work wonders with Traverse the Ulvenwald  since you want to have it in hand and not in play. It will also shine with Wrenn and Six, giving you a repeatable Assassin’s Trophy against combo decks such as Hammer Time or Amulet Titan, as well as giving you an answer to Blood Moon that can’t be countered by the Izzet Murktide decks.

  1. Sokenzan is a very powerful land as a one of, especially with a tutor for it and wrenn and six. Potentially better than boseiju in the maindeck
