This Combination Actually Works? Standard Sableye V / Galarian Moltres

Hello again readers, I’m back with you today to talk about a deck that has really hit its stride within the past week or two. While I was looking for a topic for today, I initially skipped this, because I figured someone else would have already covered it since it was seeing so much success. Around an hour of poor decisions and scrapped articles later, I did what I should have done in the first place and checked what popular decks had been covered recently. Lo and behold, Sableye V hasn’t been touched in months, and Galarian Moltres was far enough back that the lists don’t even resemble each other.

The first time I saw Sableye V, Galarian Moltres, Galarian Weezing and Inteleon thrown in the same deck, my first thought was “there’s no way this works, it’s trying to do too many things.” Previously, I have been avoiding playing in any actual online events recently, so I hadn’t played against the deck much, nor had I played too many games with it. Since then, I’ve been playing games with this deck and figuring out everything involved with it, so rest assured, I at least know what I’m doing with this one. I was genuinely surprised by just how powerful and consistent this deck felt while playing it, and I enjoyed beating Mew VMAX a large majority of the time. At the very least, this deck has a permanent place within the meta, and at best, I could see placing it at a similar strength to something like Single Strike. With that said, let’s breakdown the list I have for you today.
