Hey everyone! It’s Isaiah here and today I’ll be going over one of my favorite decks in Standard: Jolteon VMAX. Jolteon is one of the fastest and most efficient decks I’ve ever seen! Along with a slew of broken Energy cards and support Pokemon, it is Jolteon’s time to shine. So, let’s get into the deck.

I only made two changes from the list that Michael Catron has been tearing up online events with. First, I cut a Path to the Peak for Capture Energy. I did this because in my testing, I most often lost when I missed turn one Jolteon and having one more out mattered in some of my games. I would love to play four Path to the Peak, but most of the top decks play Path to the Peak anyways, so playing a high count isn’t essential. The second change I made was adding a second Zigzagoon over the third Lightning Energy. I lost countless games while testing to my Zigzagoon being prized or KOed early. Zigzagoon is primarily used in the early turns to make sure you have a benched Pokemon to target, but it is also available late game to push 10 extra damage, which can often be the difference.
