My Hero Academia CCG’s Heroes Clash Brings Ultra-Exclusive Chrome Rares

The My Hero Academia CCG is entering a new heroic age with the release of its third set, Heroes Clash! This new set is bringing with it a brand new, ultra rarity: Chrome Rare. Featuring alternate character art for five of the most popular characters in the game, these gorgeous, dual-layered metallic-inspired foils are sure to inspire players and collectors alike. These shining examples of UA’s class 1-A will all be available in Chrome Rare:

  • Izuku Midoriya (II)
  • Katsuki Bakugo (II)
  • Tenya Iida (III)
  • Shoto Todoroki (I)
  • Eijiro Kirishima (I)

These special cards will be a limited edition, with only 100 of each character ever making it to print. Every Chrome Rare will feature a unique serial number printed at the bottom of the card, making each piece a true staple for collectors.

The pack opening experience for My Hero Academia may have been exciting before, but with the release of Heroes Clash there is even more fun and value to be cracked in a pack. Don’t wait, Chrome Rares are exclusive to the First Edition printing of Heroes Clash, so if you want to get your hands on these unique game pieces you’ll need to act soon.

Prerelease events for My Hero Academia – Heroes Clash start internationally on October 14, which will be your first chance to acquire these gleaming collector’s items, with a full set release on October 21st.

  1. These are dumb, would be cool if there were more than 100. But so far, the cards themselves haven’t looked good at all/haven’t been worth collecting at all. Really sad that they can’t generate more hype around the art for their cards of one of the most popular mainstream anime since Naruto.
