Yorion, Sky Nomad

This is a control deck of the Jeskai variety, sporting Yorion, Sky Nomad for good measure, seeking to use creatures and enchantments with enter the battlefield abilities to get repetitive value.

This deck also features some great new Kaldheim cards in Doomskar, Showdown of the Skalds (which seems amazing with Yorion), Alrund, God of the Cosmos and Alrund’s Ephiphany. Alrund’s Epiphany has been an impressive card so far and I was happy to see it in this list. It’s one of the biggest draws to me in wanting to try this deck.

Showdown of the Skalds is one of, if not the best, cards in Kaldheim and a natural pairing for Yorion. I haven’t seen this happen yet, but I’m looking forward to executing it myself.

I’ve played some Alrund with Yorion as well, and it’s surprisingly strong to be able to blink the back half and turn it into the front half, potentially “drawing” some extra cards at end of turn.

Overall, I love the look of this deck, and I’m interested in trying it very soon. Let me know what you think!
