Arena Introduces a Suspended List

The December MTG Arena State of the Game introduced a new way to think about cards entering and leaving a format. Historic – the Arena format that contains all sets released on the platform and a curated list of added cards – will be introducing a Suspended List. For all intents and purposes, a card on the Suspended List is Banned, as in it cannot be played in a Historic event. The Suspended List acts more as a testing ground for a format, absent the card rather than a true exile to the Banned List. The cards being added to the Suspended List are: Field of the Dead, Oko, Thief of Crowns, Once Upon a Time, and Veil of Summer.

The December update also commented on improving client performance, a holiday Brawl Event, the ability to sort decks, and the return of Dominaria Drafts to Arena.
