Every time there’s a new set, I try to make a Boros Aggro deck work. This time I won’t fool myself and won’t add new weak cards like Venerable Warsinger or Blade Historian. However, I have to point out that Furycalm Snarl will definitely help the deck a lot in being able to curve out with a turn one Selfless Savior into a turn two Robber of the Rich.

In this deck, I mashed  together the strongest cards of both Mono-Red and Mono-White, although I omitted the best card, Faceless Haven, in an attempt to keep the minimum number possible for double mana costs. That’s why you don’t see Skyclave Apparition and I only kept Embercleave as a double cost card, since it’s so much better than Maul of the Skyclaves.

I’m not the biggest fan of this new dual land cycle, since they work poorly with the Pathways, but I have to point out that they’re good in an aggro mana bases that require untapped lands and can’t play Temple of Triumph.

The other card from Strixhaven that I added to the deck is Paulo Vitor Damo Da Rosa himself, Elite Spellbinder. He’s a good evasive creature that can slow the opponent down while attacking in the air, possibly pumped up by Showdown of the Skalds or Embercleave.
