This Velomachus Reanimator list played by Fukata Takamasa that won the Hareruya’s Streets of New Capenna Environment First Battle tournament and is one of the wildest Magic decks I have ever seen.

Velomachus LoreholdInvoke Justice

The main goal is to get Velomachus Lorehold into the graveyard and use Invoke Justice to bring it back into play, attack and profit. If you can find another Invoke with its trigger, the opponent is probably never coming back from such a huge swing, but any free spell will usually do.

Jin-Gitaxias, Progress TyrantVorinclex, Monstrous RaiderThe Restoration of Eiganjo // Architect of RestorationBig Score

Other than Velomachus, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Fleetfoot Dancer are all pretty good Invoke targets as well. To get them in the graveyard, we have Cathartic Pyre, The Restoration of Eiganjo, The Celestus, Big Score or Shigeki’s activated ability.

The rest of the deck honestly seems just like a combination of cards and has a little bit of everything, but I have to say that it must have been working together pretty well if this deck took first place in the event. There are a couple of planeswalkers in The Wandering Emperor and Wrenn and Seven while Depopulate and Burn Down the House to protect them or stop the opponent from early aggression.

Another little bonus for this deck is that your unsuspecting Ob Nixilis opponents might actually help you by giving you a discard outlet for your Velomachus Lorehold.

I’m very much looking forward to trying this deck out myself to find out how this deck works in practice. Stay tuned for my next video!
