Legacy Four-Color AnziD Pile by AnziD
Bant Miracles is one of the most popular decks in Legacy, using Azorius Control elements like Swords to Plowshares and Terminus to handle the early game and Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath and Jace, the Mind Sculptor to take over the game. The deck I’m highlighting today, Four-Color Control, is a slight variation on the archetype, it’s splashing red for three copies of Expressive Iteration in the main as well as three Pyroblast in the sideboard. The inventor of this list is none other than Anuraag Das, who took down Sunday’s Challenge on stream with his own brew!
In the long Arcum’s Astrolabe winter, we were used to seeing Legacy decks being four colors at least, but since the famous fixing machine got banned, it got much harder to keep adding colors in a format where Wasteland is dominant. AnziD wasn’t afraid though; he jammed 22 lands and various weird one-ofs like Plateau and Taiga in this masterpiece and took it all the way up to the trophy.
Dress Down used to be a main deck card in Bant Miracles, but it finally got the cut for Expressive Iteration. An overpowered draw spell that makes UR Delver shine is now being adopted by other Legacy strategies with good success.
