Legacy Aeon Bridge by TAKI
Today’s deck, Legacy Aeon Bridge, was used by Taki to get to the Top 8 of the most recent Legacy Challenge, and it has a lot of things going on. I’ll try my best to get through all of them in this brief Deck Highlight.
The first thing I want to mention about this deck is its name, Aeon Bridge, which is a 11-year old deck that first appeared on “The Source,” featuring the combination between Mosswort Bridge and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.
Today’s list isn’t playing Stifle, but instead is cheating the 12/12 trampler into play with Dress Down, a new enchantment from Modern Horizons 2 that remove its ability until the end of turn, all while cantripping.
Dress Down isn’t the only way to get value off of Phyrexian Dreadnought either. You can use Mosswort Bridge to exile Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Griselbrand or Omniscience from the Top 4 cards of your deck, and then play Phyrexian Dreadnought just to be able to enable hideaway and then cast the expensive card you’ve found.
Elvish Reclaimer is also part of the team, able to get your Urza’s Saga first, then Mosswort Bridge that can be turned on with Phyrexian Dreadnought once Urza’s Saga hits the third chapter to tutor for it.
Finally, there’s a couple of Omniscience in the sideboard to bring in against Karakas decks, when a simple Show and Tell and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn isn’t enough and you need your playset of Omniscience against GW Reclaimer or Death and Taxes.
I like how this deck sounds, and will probably record a Legacy video with this deck as well! Stay tuned!
