Luis Scott-Vargas
Luis is one of the most accomplished players in Magic: the Gathering history. His resume includes ten PT top 8s with a win at Berlin in 2008, fifteen GP Top 8s with five wins, and a Hall of Fame induction in 2013. He can often be found playing Vintage in between competitions and loves any format where Force of Will is legal.

Why not trade his Ogre for your Sanctum Gargoyle, when he plays out his 2 other dudes, tapping out and then swings?
It seems Sanctum Gargoyle recursion gives us inevitability with Esperzoa and the Capsules. one-for-one’ing seems allright to me at this point. Is pushing through a little damage at this point argument enough to keep the Sanctum Gargoyle alive?
I’m not saying it’s an awful play not blocking here, as it probably makes little difference. I would just like to hear some reasoning behind it besides “I think we’re allright not blocking here”.
