Change can be scary, and this is not a change we at ChannelFireball take lightly; we are retiring Ballsy as the main logo for ChannelFireball.com.
For those that may not know, Ballsy is the name of our iconic fireball logo and for over a decade it’s been a huge part of our brand; it’s loud, brash and in-your-face. To be clear, Ballsy isn’t going away completely; you’ll still see it in TeamCFB Ultimate Guard’s logo, on merchandise and popping up in content occasionally, but we are transitioning to a new, cleaner look for ChannelFireball:
This change comes at a very important time for us; we’ve merged with BinderPOS to form CFBGroup and we are gearing up for the launch of the ChannelFireball Marketplace.
With all these changes, we’re shifting our brand a bit. Once the Marketplace is live, our content, our platform and our voice are shifting to pumping business and engagement to the lifeblood of our industry; local game stores. This means taking the time now and changing how we think about ourselves, changing how we view our role in the industry and yes, changing our logo.
We’re still the same ChannelFireball, but we are entering a new era of the business with a fresh coat of paint.
