Legacy is in a “waiting room” spot. Everyone knows that at least Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer is going to get banned soon, but the events keep on happening. Last weekend, Talisker won the Legacy PTQ on Magic Online with a deck without Ragavan, so I figured it would have been cool to highlight his Yorion Zenith list.

Green Sun's ZenithUro, Titan of Nature's WrathPrismatic EndingField of the Dead

This is an Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath deck, that’s also using Green Sun’s Zenith as fast mana with Dryad Arbor as well as a toolbox for anything from a Grist, the Hunger Tide to a Primeval Titan.

We often see these decks splashing red for Lightning Bolt and Pyroblast, but Talisker decided to instead dip into white for Swords to Plowshares and Prismatic Ending, which is quickly becoming one of the best removal spells of all time, especially in a format where mana curves are so cheap. The only problem Prismatic Ending might have is not being able to answer Murktide Regent, but this list also packs four Ice-Fang Coatl as a reasonable way to answer the Dragon.

In order to fit so many lands like a Field of the Dead and four Wasteland in a four-color deck, as well as Green Sun’s Zenith package, the deck is adopting Yorion, Sky Nomad as its companion. It works great with Abundant Growth, aka the “green Arcum’s Astrolabe,” which can let you play around Wasteland and Blood Moon despite being a heavily multicolored deck.
