With the Explorer Qualifier Weekend and associated Play-Ins coming up, I’ve been trying to figure out the format’s next best deck. Early in a format like this, particularly given the shakeup caused by the Expressive Iteration ban, I like to try and find some sort of new brew that has the potential to be the best deck, rather than working on an established deck. This week, I’m bringing you three new Explorer brews that do something very different from the established metagame, with the hope that one or more of them are the best thing you can be doing in Explorer. Keep in mind that these lists are pretty rough sketches, and more about the idea/concept that is worth exploring rather than a specific 75. Here’s hoping these lists work out for you, and you’re able to do well in the Qualifier Weekend with some version of one of them.
