Tempo is Back in Standard! Azorius Tempo MTG Deck Guide

Tempo decks with cheap flyers and Auras that draw cards have been around since Curiosity was printed in Stronghold (in fact, one of the first Vintage decks I remember playing against was Mono-Blue Merfolk with Flying Men and Curiosity, piloted by none other than David “Web” Ochoa, a Pro Tour mainstay).

This archetype even took down a Pro Tour, in the hands of Autumn Burchett. As it turns out, playing a cheap flyer and putting a Curiosity variant on it is a great strategy, especially when backed up with a bunch of cheap counters.
