Okay, math nerds, listen up! School is in session, and I’m here to teach you everything I know about drafting Quandrix in Strixhaven Limited now that the set has been out for a couple of weeks. In the drafts I’ve done so far, I’ve had the most success with Quandrix, followed closely by Silverquill. I think Silverquill might actually be the best deck in the format when it comes together, but Quandrix is very deep and much less risky to draft in my experience.
Most importantly, Quandrix is the deck that is best able to utilize all of the extra card advantage gained through the Lesson/learn mechanics. And in case you haven’t heard yet, maximizing Lesson and Learn is a huge key to success in the format.
Today I will focus on the lessons, with learn spells soon to follow. First things first: Lessons are all about diversity and ability to draw them. Here you can see win rates based on how many unique lessons deck has in SB and how many learn cards they have. 2/21 pic.twitter.com/J4DO2qNrbx
