Esper Legends has been around for a while, quietly putting up good finishes in the past months. In the past few weeks, it performed very well in the Asia/Pacific Regional Championships and it seems that a lot of players are currently considering running it in Naples and San Diego.
I noticed Gabriel Nassif streaming with this deck for a better part of this week while preparing for the European RC, so if you want to see some actual gameplay, make sure to check out his Twitch channel.
This deck got a nice new boost in Phyrexia in the form of Skrelv, Defector Mite and Seachrome Coast. These additions might seem relatively small, but Seachrome Coast actually improved the deck’s mana base by a huge amount.
