Well, almost.
Skrelv, Defector Mite is a new card coming in Phyrexia: All Will Be One that’s reminiscent of one of the most beloved white one-drops, originally printed in Urza’s Legacy.
Skrelv, Defector Mite is a one mana 1/1 legendary artifact creature with toxic 1 and the text “Skrelv can’t block.” But Skrelv’s most important ability is its activated ability. By tapping Skrelv and paying a white Phyrexian mana, Skrelv gives one target creature you control toxic 1 and hexproof from a color of your choice. It also makes that creature unblockable by creatures of that color.
It’s not quite as good as protection, but it’s pretty close!
