Don’t worry about it.
At this point, it’s safe to say that Tainted Pact is the best deck in Historic. About half the field in the MPL/Rivals League Weekend was playing it, and these are the best players in the world trying to do their best to pick up wins. There’s certainly a good chance that Pact gets banned as a result, but until it does (if it does), I want to give you the tools to beat it. I myself played Jeskai Control, and went 5-0 against Pact decks. If you’re interested in that deck, you can read Huey’s Deck Guide here. Between that and the playtesting I did for the event, I’ve got a good idea of how to beat Tainted Pact and how you can fight against the (mostly) singleton menace. First of all, if you want to learn how to play Pact, I recommend the Deep Dive I did . To find out how to beat it, simply read on.
