Grixis Midrange is Still Great in Standard: MTG Deck Guide

No matter how many decks I try, I always come back to Esper and Grixis Midrange. One of the silent overperformers in Standard has been Make Disappear, and both decks share the trait of playing four copies of the cheap counter. I would expect more than half of the competitors to play Make Disappear this weekend in the World Championship.

I chose Grixis Midrange in the Standard Qualifier Weekend right after the ban of The Meathook Massacre and have worked on the archetype continuously before and since then. In this Deck Guide, I’m happy to share to you my findings on one of the best decks in the format and explain in detail how I arrived at the list.
