In addition to fresh brews, the release of a new set means looking for ways to improve existing strategies. Gruul Adventures is the deck that I choose for the MPL League Play Weekend at the tail end of Kaldheim Standard. I believe that Gruul can remain strong – in one form or another – after the release of Strixhaven.
By now, it’s no secret that Goldspan Dragon is one of the most powerful creatures available in Standard, and it can make for highly impressive sequences in a number of different ways. There are two Strixhaven cards that I’m excited to pair with Goldspan Dragon.
