Last month’s Modern update was showcasing fresh ideas and speculations. The format was still sorting itself out after the banning of Yorion, Sky Nomad, we were barely introduced to The Brothers’ War and many players had been playing Pioneer for their Regional Championships.
This month, we see things solidified. The second order consequences of the Yorion ban are falling into place, and we are seeing the actually good cards from The Brothers’ War stick around while the nonsense falls away.
