  1. For some odd reason I saw that offering to Asha coming a mile away (one of my favourite cards after Soul Manipulation). I was thinking you should have dropped your land first, and before you equip you should drop the tower to attempt to dodge it.

If your deck wasn’t already so stacked, that might have cost you. But good video and draft nonetheless.

  2. Not playing mask T2 seems incredibly bad. You lose out on two mana, 1 dmg, and open yourself up to all sorts of Beetle/Jund sojourner shenanigans. All that for the sake of keeping the surprise play/equip in same turn factor. Not worth it imo.

  3. In addition to above, I do not understand why the second island over the plains on turn three. You could bluff Ethersworn Shieldmage at practically no cost to you.

Also that whole Mask thing makes absolutely zero sense to me. Mask doesn’t actually affect a race (though in this instance it turns on Stormblade, that guy can already be considered hard to block)… well, I’m positive you’re better than me (random sackery the one time I played you aside), but you don’t really explain it in a way that makes it make sense to me. I get the idea of what you’re saying, but not why it’s held up for you over time.

  4. (Also, on the Sphinx Summoner turn you left B up instead of U when Unsummon is in the format. Not that I can see it ever mattering, but… mise? You played around it at the end there, after all.)

  5. great job not playing the mask again. you realize that if he holds up mana for a removal spell, you can just cast other things…

  6. On the last turn would it not be much easier to simply mask up the leviathan and kill him with a 6/5 fear? I suppose you win either way; but it seems the most straightforward.
