There we a couple of attacks with the meditant I think you shouldn’t have done, as it would have forced him to either kill your 4 toughness blocker (which he only has terminate for from what we’ve seen) or lose a guy.

I had a few questions:
1. What was the point of letting the Grixis Grimblade bash in when you could’ve tapped it with the battlemage?
2. Would it have been better to cast bloodbraid knowing how much spot removal he has, so you could possibly commit another guy to the board to stabilize?
3. The last one is kind of a joke, but why are you so greedy? lol.

Wretched Banquet too, ouch. 5 removal spells within 16 cards drawn, that’s pretty ridiculous.

Yeah - its amazing how good tuka tounge would have been in those two games. I’ve gotta go back to the draft and see what you picked over it now.

MckHick, I think for your #2 that LSV had just replayed the battlemage after it had been bounced so it had summoning sickness.
Tukatongue Thallid would have been so good in both matches….

He took the Sylvan Bounty over the latest one that came 12th or 13th. The other Tukatongues were a lot earlier. It also wouldve been less relevant except he happened to draw the Ranger every game.
I also think lsv could definitely play tighter, just think through the possiblities of him having a removal spell etc more thoroughly

The possibility of him having a removal spell or a guy with haste was low, especially based on the number he had already played. If the game had turned out differently, and LSV had held back and stabilized and knocked his opponent down to 3 or 4 life when the dude draws some game breaking bomb, you’d be saying he should have gotten some hits in there when there wasn’t much risk.

Why play Ranger of Eos with one 1-drop in the deck? Seems pretty loose.
Then again, you were sick. We have to keep that in mind; illness affects decision-making greatly.
